The estates team provides strategic oversight and operational management of the trust’s estates function, strengthening capacity through targeted recruitment, the implementation and ongoing development of Compliance Pod, and the establishment of centralised contracts to ensure value for money, compliance and consistent service standards. It delivers estates management training, oversees contract performance and develops systems and processes that support effective and reliable service delivery across all schools.
It develops and maintains key estates systems, including the Estates SharePoint Hub, integration of condition survey data and the expansion of planned preventative maintenance and compliance frameworks, to support informed decision-making and efficient operations. The team ensures that estates activity remains aligned with regulatory expectations and best practice, providing safe, well-maintained and high-quality learning environments across the trust.
The IT team provides strategic leadership and operational support for digital infrastructure across the trust, addressing legacy challenges through the progressive replacement of outdated systems, and ensuring the suitability, resilience and value for money of IT solutions. A key part of their work is ensuring network security and safeguarding through standardised and robust protection measures and processes.
The team runs a responsive helpdesk to provide rapid support across the Trust, wherever it is needed.
